Business Development & Sales (B2B & B2C – Exhibition Stall Sales)
Industry: Exhibition / Events
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 2+Years (Exhibition / B2B Sales preferred)
Job Description:
We are an exhibition brand looking for a confident and experienced Business Development & Sales professional who will primarily focus on stall/space selling for exhibitions. The role includes handling both B2B and B2C sales, complete on-call sales operations, client onboarding, and managing a small sales team for B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
B2C – Exhibitor Sales:
- Connect with exhibitors and individual business owners over calls
- Sell exhibition stalls/spaces to exhibitors
- Explain exhibition concept, stall options, pricing, and benefits
- Handle exhibitor queries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
B2B – Professional Sales & Team Management:
- Sell exhibition stalls/spaces to professional clients, brands, corporates, and companies
- Manage and guide the B2B sales team to achieve targets
- Allocate leads, monitor performance, and ensure proper follow-ups
- Maintain professional communication and long-term relationships with B2B clients
- Stall Selling & Onboarding (Core Responsibility)
On-Call Sales Operations:
- Entire sales process will be on-call (no field work)
- Maintain proper call records, lead status, and client data
- Coordinate internally for stall allocation and exhibitor onboarding
Requirements:
✔ Strong experience in B2B & B2C sales
✔ Experience in team handling (mandatory for B2B role)
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✔ Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
✔ Professional client-handling ability
✔ Experience in Exhibition / Event / Space Sales is a big plus
