Job Title: Business Development Executive (In house Sales)

Work Location: Kolkata (Kasba)


Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive (In house Sales) working for a garment manufacturing company, will be responsible for generating business by selling garments to wholesale buyers, Boutique owner, distributors, and Garments  exporter through phone-based communication. The role focuses on promoting the brand's fashion products, building strong client relationships, and closing sales deals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to retailers, wholesalers, boutiques, and corporate buyers.
  • Introduce and promote the fashion brand’s products, collections, and offers.
  • Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert them into sales.
  • Maintain a database of existing and potential B2B clients.
  • Share product catalogs, pricing, and order details with clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms according to company policies.
  • Coordinate with the sales and logistics team to process and track orders.
  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with business clients.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collect feedback from clients to improve service and product offerings.
  • Maintain records of calls, leads, and sales in CRM or spreadsheets.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in B2B telesales, fashion sales, or wholesale distribution.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English and Hindi.
  • Confidence in handling business clients over the phone.
  • Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of fashion trends and product categories.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / CRM is an added advantage.
  • Good relationship-building ability
