The organization works closely with hospitals, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and international partners to deliver seamless, patient-centric healthcare journeys.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding service reach for MyHealthMates across home healthcare and medical tourism verticals. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, excellent relationship-management skills, and the ability to identify and execute new business opportunities.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & StrategyDevelop and execute business development strategies to expand homecare and medical tourism services in Kolkata and other target markets.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across B2B, B2C, and institutional partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and patient demand to guide strategic decisions.
  • Partnerships & AlliancesBuild and manage partnerships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, rehabilitation centers, and international healthcare providers.
  • Establish relationships with travel partners, facilitators, embassies, and insurance providers for medical tourism services.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, MoUs, and service agreements in coordination with management.
  • Client Acquisition & Revenue GenerationDrive patient referrals through hospitals, doctors, corporate clients, and channel partners.
  • Generate leads and convert them into long-term clients through structured follow-ups and service presentations.
  • Achieve defined revenue, partnership, and growth targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Brand & Market Presence Represent MyHealthMates at healthcare conferences, networking events, hospital meetings, and trade forums.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing market insights, partnership leads, and feedback from clients and stakeholders.
  • Strengthen brand positioning as a trusted healthcare and medical tourism partner.
  • Operational CoordinationCoordinate with operations, care delivery, and clinical partners to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and partners.
  • Ensure service offerings are aligned with regulatory, ethical, and quality standards.
  • Assist in pricing strategy, service packaging, and proposal preparation.
  • Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate records of leads, partnerships, and sales pipelines.
  • Prepare periodic reports on business performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
  • Ensure all business development activities adhere to healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare services, homecare, hospitals, medical tourism, or healthtech.
  • Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of the healthcare and medical tourism ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain long-term professional relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally, as required.
  • Preferred Experience Experience working with hospitals, international patient services, or healthcare facilitators.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance aspects of healthcare services.
  • Prior experience in scaling healthcare or service-based startups will be an advantage.
