Job Description

Job Brief for BDM

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Manager to proactively drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, account expansion, and strategic partnerships in the education sector. The role involves identifying business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and achieving defined revenue targets while strengthening long-term customer relationships across West Bengal.

 

 

Responsibilities:        


·        Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through new business development and repeat sales.

·        Identify and approach potential sales prospects through proactive market study, field visits, lead generation activities, and by utilizing social media platforms.

·        Evaluate customer needs, negotiate and close deals and maintain customer relation post sales.

·        Responsible for client retention and cross sales.

·        Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns.

·        Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.

·        Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.

·        Provide regular reports and updates on client acquisition outcomes to the concerned team.

·        Participate in various industry events for brand promotion and building strong professional network.

·        Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with concerned internal team.

·        Handle and resolve customer complaints.

·        Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and transition of new clients.

 

Requirements and skills

·        3-5 years’ of sales experience in the domain

·        Excellent communication and demonstration skills

·        Proficiency in MS Office

·        Hands-on experience with CRM software is an advantage

·        A Bachelor’s Degree
