Cabin Crew

A cabin crew member's primary job is to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers during a flight. This involves a mix of safety and service duties, including pre-flight briefings, performing safety checks, demonstrating emergency procedures, administering first aid, serving meals and refreshments, and resolving passenger issues. 

Safety and emergency responsibilities

• Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure emergency equipment is functional and cabins are secure.
• Demonstrating safety equipment and procedures to passengers before takeoff.
• Monitoring the cabin throughout the flight for any safety or security issues.
• Responding to emergencies, providing basic first aid, and using medical equipment like defibrillators. 

Customer service and comfort

• Greeting passengers, showing them to their seats, and assisting with special needs.
• Serving meals, beverages, and duty-free goods.
• Ensuring the cabin is clean and comfortable for all passengers.
• Handling passenger inquiries, requests, and conflicts with professionalism. 

Administrative duties

• Participating in pre-flight briefings with the flight deck and other crew members.
• Making in-flight announcements as instructed by the captain.
• Completing written flight reports after a journey.
