Calibration Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer / Technician to perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of measuring instruments in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and relevant national & international standards. The candidate should ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance of all calibration activities.

• Key Responsibilities: Perform calibration of instruments related to:
• 
  
• Mechanical – Pressure gauges, load cells, weighing balances, torque wrenches, etc.
• Electrical / Electronics – Multimeters, insulation testers, power analysers, temperature indicators, etc.
• Thermal – RTD, Thermocouples, temperature baths, ovens, furnaces.
• Dimensional – Vernier callipers, micrometres, dial gauges, slip gauges.
• Prepare and issue calibration certificates as per ISO/IEC 17025.
• Ensure traceability of all measurements to / National / International standards.
• Maintain calibration records, raw data sheets and uncertainty calculations.
• Perform measurement uncertainty calculations.
• Assist in audits, surveillance audits and internal audits.
• Identify out-of-tolerance instruments and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration equipment and laboratory cleanliness.
• Provide on-site calibration support at client locations when required.
• Skills & CompetenciesGood knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty and traceability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical standards and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of documentation, SOPs, and quality procedures.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site calibration work.
• QualificationDiploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience0–2 years – Fresher may apply (Training will be provided).
• 2–5 years – Experience in an accredited calibration laboratory preferred.
