Job Description
As the Chief Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end operational functions of MR Associates under the Kotak Life Insurance agency network. This leadership role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, smooth workflows, compliance with regulatory standards, efficient processes, team performance, and alignment with business objectives. The Chief Operations Manager leads operations strategy and execution to support both sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- 📋 Key Responsibilities1. Operational Leadership & Strategy Lead and supervise all operational functions within the agency office to ensure efficient processes and high productivity. Operations Manager
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans.
- Monitor and refine workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve turnaround times.
- 2. Team Management & Coordination Manage, mentor, and guide supervisors, associates, and other operations staff for optimal performance.
- Set targets, define KPIs, and monitor progress to drive operational success.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure continuous team development and training.
- 3. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure all operations comply with Kotak Life Insurance policies, industry regulations (like IRDAI), and internal controls. Operations Manager
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain accuracy in documentation, customer servicing, policy issuance, and data management. Operations Manager
- 4. Process Improvement & Reporting Analyze operational metrics and data to identify bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and implement solutions.
- Prepare and present regular performance and operational reports to senior management.
- Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and incorporate digital tools for increased productivity.
- 5. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Support customer service excellence by ensuring timely and professional handling of queries related to policies, renewals, claims, and documentation.
