JOB DESCRIPTION – CREDIT EXECUTIVE Job Title: Credit Executive Department: Credit Location: Kolkata (On-site) Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Requirements: We are a fast-growing Fintech startup looking for a disciplined Credit Executive to join our risk management team. You will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing the creditworthiness of applicants, and ensuring our lending portfolio remains healthy. • Credit Appraisal: Reviewing applicant profiles, KYC documents, and financial statements • Risk Assessment: Analyzing credit bureau reports (CIBIL, Experian) and bank statements to determine repayment capacity. • Data Verification: Verifying the authenticity of documents provided by customers. • Policy Compliance: Ensuring all approvals align with the company’s internal credit policy and RBI guidelines. • Decisioning: Recommending approvals, rejections, or credit limit adjustments based on analysis. • Experience: 1–3 years specifically in a Credit Department (Fintech). • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with LOS (Loan Origination Systems). • Education: Graduate in Commerce, Finance.
