Job Description
- Timely Delivery: Pick up items from a central location (e.g., warehouse, restaurant, or store) and deliver them to designated customer locations within the promised timeframe.
- Route Management: Efficiently plan and follow delivery routes using GPS or maps to ensure punctuality.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and handle items with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation and Payments: Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logs, and collect payments (cash-on-delivery) if required.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, address inquiries or concerns politely, and gather feedback on services provided.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues promptly to supervisors.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all road safety guidelines, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
