Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Dispatch & Transportation Management Plan, schedule, and monitor all outbound deliveries.
- Allocate vehicles and assign routes to Delivery Agents (DAs).
- Track real-time vehicle and delivery status.
- 2. Delivery Summary & Reporting Prepare daily delivery summaries and dispatch reports.
- Track delivery completion, POD (proof of delivery), and pending deliveries.
- Maintain all transport and dispatch-related documentation.
- 3. Delivery Agent (DA) Management Manage DA attendance, route allocation, and daily tasks.
- Brief DAs on delivery instructions, customer details, and priority orders.
- Monitor DA performance, behaviour, customer feedback, and productivity.
- Resolve on-ground issues faced by DAs during delivery.
- 4. WMS (Warehouse Management System) Operations Operate WMS for order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure order accuracy and timely readiness.
- Ensure all entries, stock movements, and delivery scans are updated correctly.
- 5. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with warehouse, sales, inventory, and customer support teams.
- Communicate delivery issues, delays, and customer escalations efficiently.
- Work with transport vendors as needed.
- 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure dispatch operations follow company SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Verify driver and vehicle documents when required.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).
- 2–4 years experience in dispatch or logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of WMS and route planning.
- Strong leadership skills to handle Delivery Agents effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
