Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager is responsible for developing and managing the sales distribution network for insurance products. The role involves recruiting and training sales teams or channel partners, driving business growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales and revenue targets through effective distribution strategies.

• Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage the insurance distribution network (agents, advisors, or partners).
• Recruit, train, and motivate sales teams to achieve business objectives.
• Plan and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for insurance products.
• Monitor channel performance and ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key clients.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations of the sales force.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, IRDAI regulations, and ethical sales practices.
• Prepare business reports and submit updates to senior management.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in insurance sales or distribution management.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of life/general insurance products and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
• Ability to build and manage large teams and multiple distribution channels.
