Job Description

The Document Verification Executive is responsible for verifying, validating, and processing customer documents related to insurance policies. The role ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, supporting smooth policy issuance and operational efficiency.

  • 📍 Key Responsibilities📂 Document Verification & ValidationVerify customer documents such as KYC (Aadhaar, PAN), address proof, income proof, and application forms.
  • Check documents for accuracy, completeness, authenticity, and consistency as per Kotak Life guidelines.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information and report them promptly.
  • 🧾 Data Entry & Record ManagementUpdate verified customer and policy data accurately in internal systems or CRM.
  • Maintain proper records (physical and digital) of verified documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive customer information.
  • 🤝 Coordination & Follow-upsCoordinate with sales teams, back-office staff, and field executives to collect pending or corrected documents.
  • Follow up on incomplete or rejected documentation to ensure timely resolution.
  • 📊 Compliance & Quality ControlEnsure documentation complies with company SOPs, IRDAI norms, and internal audit standards.
  • Support quality checks, audits, and internal reviews related to document processing.
  • 📞 Internal & Customer SupportRespond to document-related queries from internal teams.
  • Assist in clarifying document requirements to customers through authorized channels.
  • 🧠 Skills & QualificationsEducation: 12th pass / Graduate preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in document verification, back office, or insurance/finance domain is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and observation skills.
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email, and internal systems.
  • Communication: Clear communication and coordination skills.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly.

  • Reporting To: Back Office Manager / Operations Manager.
