Job Summary

The E-commerce Sales Executive is responsible for driving online sales, handling customer inquiries, managing orders, and providing post-sales support across digital platforms. The role focuses on converting online leads into successful sales while ensuring a smooth and trustworthy customer experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries received through website, WhatsApp, phone calls, and social media
  • Explain product details clearly and guide customers toward purchase decisions
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed online sales
  • Manage order placement, order confirmation, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely order dispatch
  • Handle Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payment orders
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, customers, and daily sales activity
  • Provide post-sales support including delivery tracking, returns, and complaints
  • Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate
  • Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not mandatory)
  • Previous experience in e-commerce sales, online sales, or customer support is an advantage
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Bengali is a plus)
  • Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and online tools
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, CRM tools, or WhatsApp Business
  • Ability to handle sales targets and work under pressure
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability
