Electrical Engineer

Job Summary-

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to manage, execute, and supervise electrical works at civil construction project sites. The role involves planning, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities-

• Plan, design, and supervise electrical installations for civil construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare electrical layouts, load calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Supervise site activities including wiring, cabling, earthing, panel installation, and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, IS standards, and local authority regulations.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and timelines as per project schedules.
• Inspect electrical materials and ensure proper usage as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for electrical works.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs and progress updates.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site-related electrical issues.
• Maintain site documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications & Experience-

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical works for civil or construction projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies-

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems used in civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards, IS codes, and statutory compliance.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project documentation.
• Ability to work independently at site.

Working Conditions-

• Site-based role with possible travel between project locations.
• May require extended working hours based on project needs.
