Field Sales Executive

Role OverviewThe Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding distribution, maintaining retailer relationships, and promoting the company’s electrical products in assigned territories.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentVisit retailers, distributors, electrical shops, and project contractors to promote products.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure consistent order generation.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage in the assigned region.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features/benefits to customers.
• Market/Channel ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
• Monitor stock levels, order flow, and product visibility at outlets.
• Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.
• Operations & ReportingMaintain daily visit reports, order updates, and sales analytics.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle customer queries, follow up on payments, and ensure smooth transactions.
• Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1–3 years of field sales experience (Electrical industry preferred).
• Experience in FMCG/consumer durable sales will also be considered.
• Graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage territory operations.
• Additional RequirementsMust possess a two-wheeler (mandatory).
• Should be familiar with the local market and able to commute within the assigned area.
• Good personality, discipline, and willingness to travel for sales activities.
