Field Service Engineer

Job Title: Senior Field Engineer – Security & Infrastructure (Pan-India)

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior CCTV & Infrastructure Technician to lead complex security deployments across India. This is not a "desk job." You will be the technical lead on the ground, responsible for everything from the physical fiber backbone to the high-level VMS configuration. If you are as comfortable climbing a mast for a radio link as you are configuring a Milestone server, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Surveillance & VMS

• Installation and commissioning of high-end IP, PTZ, and Thermal cameras.
• Full-stack configuration of VMS Software 
• Setting up storage arrays (RAID), motion analytics, and failover recording servers.

2. Fiber Optic Infrastructure

• End-to-end fiber deployment: laying, dressing, and protection.
• Expert-level fusion splicing, termination, and testing using OTDR and Power Meters.
• Troubleshooting backbone connectivity issues in industrial and outdoor environments.

3. Wireless Radio Networking

• Designing and installing outdoor Wireless Radio Links (PTP/PTMP) .
• Conducting Line-of-Sight (LoS) surveys and frequency interference analysis.
• Ensuring stable bandwidth for high-bitrate video backhaul over wireless.

4. Pan-India Deployment & Mobility

• Travel: 70%–80% travel across India. You must be ready to deploy to project sites on short notice.
• Site Management: Handling on-site logistics, vendor coordination, and daily progress reporting.
• Adaptability: Working in diverse conditions, from corporate HQ offices to remote industrial sites.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in the security/telecom industry.
• Networking: Solid understanding of IP addressing, VLANs, and Subnetting.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable working at heights (masts/poles) and in various weather conditions.
• Tools: Proficiency with fusion splicers, RF aligners, and network testers.

Soft Skills

• Language: Proficiency in Hindi and English is mandatory. Knowledge of regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, etc.) is a massive advantage for site coordination.
• Problem Solving: A "find a way" attitude when faced with site-specific bottlenecks.
