FMS IT Engineer - Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking skilled FMS IT Engineers to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by designing, installing, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing robust security

measures. Should handle the site independently. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Collaborate with the IT manager to assess and address system needs.

Design and install computer hardware configurations.

Install and configure software and computer systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve network and software issues.

Train staff on new hardware and software systems.

Address and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.

Respond to general IT requests and provide timely support.

Ensure security software is up to date.

Vendor Coordination

Asset and Inventory Management

Prepare and submit monthly reports to the IT Manager.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Diploma in Computer, or a related field.

Experience:

Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.

Familiarity with general OS systems, enterprise software, programming languages,

and office software.

Proficiency in LAN and wireless networks.

Strong project management abilities.

Excellent communication skills

Expertise in troubleshooting complex software and hardware issues.

Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
