Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The graphic designer is responsible for conceptualizing and executing all visual elements for events, from initial branding to on-site signage. This includes producing high-quality print and digital materials that align with the client’s vision and the event’s theme. The designer works closely with event planners, marketers, and clients to ensure all visuals contribute to a unified and impactful attendee experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualization and design: Develop creative concepts and designs for a wide range of event materials, such as logos, invitations, posters, banners, stage backdrops, and other promotional items.
• Branding consistency: Ensure all design elements are consistent with the client's brand guidelines and reinforce the overall event theme across all touchpoints.
• Digital and print production: Prepare final artwork for both digital and print applications, including large-format graphics, web banners, social media posts, and email campaigns.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with event coordinators, marketing teams, and vendors to understand project requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver solutions that meet project objectives.
• Presentation and communication: Clearly and effectively present design concepts and ideas to clients and internal teams for approval and feedback.
• Time and project management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Market research: Stay informed of current design trends, technologies, and best practices within the events industry. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is often preferred.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative design projects, particularly those related to branding and events.
• Technical expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Creative and aesthetic skills: A strong sense of aesthetics, with expertise in typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Printing knowledge: Understanding of printing processes and file preparation for both digital and print production.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience: Prior experience in a graphic design role, preferably within the events, marketing, or exhibition industry, is a plus.
