As Head Cook, the candidate is responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all continental dishes at Floriana Restaurant. This role ensures food quality, consistency, hygiene standards, and smooth kitchen operations while managing the continental kitchen team and maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute continental dishes including appetizers, salads, pastas, grills, and main courses according to proper standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the continental kitchen staff during service.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of all dishes.
• Develop and improve continental menu items in coordination with management.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place requisitions to avoid shortages.
• Minimize food wastage and control food costs.
• Ensure timely food preparation during peak service hours.
• Handle customer feedback related to continental dishes professionally.
