Travel Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our travel sales team. The ideal candidate should have strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for designing memorable holiday experiences for clients. You will handle enquiries, proactively reach out to leads, create customised itineraries, close sales, and ensure smooth end-to-end service for travellers.

• Key Responsibilities1. Sales, Proactive Calling & Client HandlingHandle inbound enquiries via call, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
• Conduct proactive outbound calling to warm leads, old enquiries, referrals, and potential customers.
• Maintain a daily calling and follow-up schedule to maximise conversions.
• Understand client requirements and suggest suitable holiday packages (domestic & international).
• Create customised itineraries, quotations, and costings based on client preferences and budget.
• Present packages effectively to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• 2. Coordination & OperationsCoordinate with hotels, DMCs, airlines, and vendors for best rates and confirmations.
• Maintain accurate booking records in CRM/software.
• Manage travel documentation: passports, visas, insurance, vouchers, tickets.
• Ensure smooth pre-trip, on-trip, and post-trip support to clients.
• 3. Customer Experience & Relationship ManagementProvide expert advice on destinations, activities, and experiences.
• Offer timely follow-ups and status updates.
• Build strong client relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
• 4. Revenue & Target AchievementWork towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell add-ons like sightseeing, transfers, upgrades, and insurance.
• Track performance and share periodic reports with management.
• Required Skills & Qualifications1–3 years’ experience in holiday/package sales (freshers with high confidence and passion may apply).
• Strong communication and telephone handling skills.
• Ability to create itineraries and package costings.
• Knowledge of domestic & international destinations.
• CRM / travel software familiarity; GDS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
