Job Summary:The Sorter is responsible for organizing, categorizing, and processing incoming items or materials according to company standards and safety protocols. This role ensures accurate and efficient sorting to support smooth workflow and timely operations.

• Key Responsibilities:Sort and organize items or materials by category, size, type, or destination.
• Inspect materials for defects, damage, or contamination, and remove unsuitable items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Work with machinery or conveyor belts as required for sorting processes.
• Label and prepare sorted items for shipment, recycling, or further processing.
• Meet daily production and accuracy targets.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory counts or audits as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling center, or similar environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to [weight] lbs.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
