Insurance Sales Manager

An Insurance Sales Officer is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable insurance policies. They play a key role in achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and promoting insurance products such as life insurance, health insurance, motor insurance, and general insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospecting and generating new leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and networking.
• Meeting with clients to understand their financial needs and explaining suitable insurance plans.
• Presenting product features, benefits, terms & conditions to customers in a clear manner.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships for long-term business.
• Selling various insurance products like life, health, motor, term, investment-linked, etc.
• Achieving monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
• Completing documentation, proposal forms, and supporting client onboarding.
• Providing after-sales support and resolving policy-related queries.
• Conducting follow-ups with prospective customers.
• Participating in marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and customer awareness programs.
• Maintaining daily reports and updating CRM / MIS data regularly.
• Coordinating with branch staff, underwriters, and the operations team for policy issuing.
