Interior Design Coordinator

The Interior Designer Supervisor oversees interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality standards, timely delivery, and client satisfaction. This role involves supervising a team of designers, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring that all design work aligns with company goals and project requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and mentor a team of interior designers and junior staff
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, mood boards, and material selections
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, preferences, and budgets
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design implementation accuracy
• Resolve design and execution issues efficiently
• Maintain quality control and adherence to safety standards
• Prepare project schedules, reports, and documentation
• Stay updated with latest design trends, materials, and technologies
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in interior design, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction processes
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification in interior design (if applicable)
