What are we expecting?

As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be responsible for managing and nurturing the company's strategic client accounts. You will work closely with existing and potential clients in the FMCG industry to understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


·       Client Relationship Management:

o  Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring consistent communication and responsiveness to client inquiries.

o  Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.

o  Understand client business models, needs, and challenges to provide personalized packaging solutions.


·       Sales & Business Development:

o  Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales and expand the company's presence within key accounts.

o  Drive business growth by up-selling and cross-selling packaging products and services that align with client needs.

o  Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing packaging solutions that meet their specific requirements.


·       Account Strategy:

o  Develop and execute tailored account strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s market share within each key account.

o  Coordinate with the internal team (sales, production, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of contracts and timely delivery of products.


·       Project Management:

o  Oversee the project lifecycle from the initial client consultation to the final delivery of packaging solutions.

o  Manage timelines, budgets, and quality assurance to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.


·       Market Research & Analysis:

o  Stay up to date on industry trends, packaging innovations, and competitor offerings to better serve clients and anticipate market demands.

o  Provide feedback to the product development team to ensure the company stays competitive within the packaging industry.


·       Customer Service & Satisfaction:

o  Resolve any client issues or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

o  Ensure that all client concerns are addressed in a timely manner to maintain a positive relationship.


·       Reporting & Documentation:

o  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in ERP systems.

o  Regularly report on account performance, sales pipeline, and forecasts to senior management

 


Key Skills & Qualifications:·       Education:

o  Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.


·       Experience:

o  Minimum of 1 years of experience in key account management or sales.


·       Technical Skills:

o  Strong understanding of packaging design, materials, and production techniques is a plus.


·       Sales Skills:

o  Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

o  Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers.

o  Results-driven with a proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.


·       Software Skills:

o  Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), MS Office Suite, and project management software.


·       Personal Qualities:

o  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

o  Highly organized with attention to detail.

o  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o  Proactive, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
