Kitchen Staff

Description- The Kitchen Staff plays a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth, efficient food preparation. This role involves assisting chefs and cooks with basic food prep, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, organizing supplies, and helping with meal service. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Assist

• with basic food preparation (cutting, washing, portioning ingredients)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Help chefs during service by preparing stations and organizing ingredients
• Manage inventory: receive, store, and rotate supplies
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain sanitation standards
• Assist with plating and assembling dishes when required
• Ensure timely completion of assigned kitchen tasks

Requirements

• Prior kitchen experience preferred
• Understanding of basic food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderate weight
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
