Job Title: Sea Operations Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sea Operations Executive to manage and oversee the operational aspects of our shipping and logistics business. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective sea operations, complying with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Manage and coordinate vessel operations, including route planning, cargo loading/unloading, and berthing.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and international conventions.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor vessel performance, including speed, fuel consumption, and maintenance.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with charterers, shipowners, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues.

•⁠ ⁠Plan and manage budgets for vessel operations, maintenance, and repairs.

•⁠ ⁠Supervise and train operational staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

•⁠ ⁠Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and accidents.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with other departments (e.g., commercial, technical) to achieve business objectives.

•⁠ ⁠Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠Professional certifications (e.g., Master Mariner, Chief Engineer).

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 5 years of experience in sea operations, shipping, or maritime management.

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in maritime software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
