Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor prescriptions
• Verify prescriptions for legality, dosage, and drug interactions
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage
• Maintain proper records of controlled drugs as per Drugs and Cosmetics Act
• Manage stock, inventory, and expiry of medicines
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.)
• Handle billing and cash transactions (in retail pharmacy)
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff (in hospital setup)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy
• Follow all regulatory and compliance guidelines
