Restaurant Captain

Job Summary:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Captain to join our dynamic team. As a Restaurant Captain, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will lead the front-of-house team, ensuring that service standards are met and exceeded while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

1. Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
2. Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service.
3. Monitor guest feedback and address any concerns promptly to enhance the dining experience.
4. Assist in managing reservations, table assignments, and guest seating arrangements.
5. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service and quality control.
6. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests.
7. Handle cash transactions and manage billing processes efficiently.
8. Create a welcoming environment by interacting with guests in a friendly manner.
9. Support management in implementing promotional events or special menus.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
2. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
3. Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
4. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences.
5. A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Culinary or hospitality management qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
2. Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software is preferred.
