Restaurant Junior Captain

A Restaurant Junior Captain assists in managing front-of-house operations

Focusing on guest satisfaction, supervising junior staff (servers/runners)

Ensuring service standards, and coordinating with the kitchen, while also handling guest feedback and upselling menu items

bridging the gap between servers and management.

• Guest Service: Greeting guests, managing seating, taking orders, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Staff Supervision: Guiding, training, and supervising junior servers and bus staff; ensuring team adherence to service standards.
• Operations: Overseeing table setup, cleanliness, inventory (utensils, linens), and coordinating with kitchen for timely food delivery.
• Sales & Promotion: Promoting specials, upselling menu items, and ensuring thorough menu knowledge.
• Reporting & Feedback: Collecting guest feedback for management and documenting staff performance.
• Administrative: Processing payments, managing POS systems, and completing daily opening/closing duties.
