Job Description

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and maximizing profitability. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations.

Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, bar, and service staff.

Monitor opening and closing procedures.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.

Staff Management

Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.

Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.

Ensure staff follow service standards and company policies.

Handle staff discipline and performance issues.

Customer Service

Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain a welcoming and professional dining environment.

Sales and Profitability

Monitor daily sales and expenses.

Ensure proper billing and prevent revenue leakage.

Control wastage and operational costs.

Promote upselling of food and beverages.

Inventory and Stock Control

Monitor food, beverage, and bar inventory.

Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely stock availability.

Prevent stock loss, wastage, or theft.

Compliance and Administration

Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation.

Coordinate with management regarding operations and improvements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Good knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service.

Ability to manage staff and handle pressure.

Basic knowledge of billing systems (Petpooja preferred).

Preferred Skills

Experience managing bar operations.

Strong problem-solving ability.

Professional appearance and attitude.

Ability to increase sales and improve customer experience.

Working Hours

As per restaurant operational requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
