Sales Manager

The Sales Manager – CSR & STEM Education

Projects will be responsible for driving CSR

and institutional sales for STEM labs, DIY

innovation programs, robotics and tinkering initiatives, and allied education projects.

The role will be based out of Kolkata or Delhi, with extensive and mandatory PAN-India travel for client meetings, site visits, proposal discussions, and project closures. This is a field-intensive role requiring both technical

understanding of STEM offerings and strong

relationship-building capability.

Key Responsibilities1. CSR & Institutional Sales·      Identify and close CSR-funded and institutional projects in STEM education, DIY labs, robotics, tinkering, and innovation

programs

·      Engage with CSR Heads, Education Leads, Foundations, Trusts, PSUs, NGOs, and

school management bodies

·      Build and manage a sales pipeline across education-focused CSR

initiatives

·      Conduct PAN-India client meetings, school visits, and stakeholder

interactions

2. Proposal Development & Closure·      Prepare and coordinate CSR proposals, concept notes, RFQs, EOIs,

and RFP responses

·      Align proposals with Schedule VII of the Companies Act and donor CSR guidelines

·      Work with technical and implementation teams to ensure accurate

scope, costing, and deliverables

·      Support negotiations and ensure timely commercial closure

3. Client & Partner Management·      Act as the primary contact from lead generation to project award

·      Coordinate with NGO partners, academic institutions, vendors, and internal teams

·      Ensure clear communication on scope, timelines, training, and impact

metrics

·      Enable repeat engagements and long-term CSR relationships

4. Market Intelligence & Outreach·      Track trends in STEM education, DIY learning, robotics,

and CSR education funding

·      Identify new opportunities with corporates and foundations focused on education

·      Represent GoBTZ at education, CSR, and innovation forums

Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Qualification·      Graduate in Management, Marketing, Education, Social Work, Engineering, or

related disciplines

·      Exposure to STEM / Robotics / Innovation education will be an added advantage

Experience·      Minimum

2+ years of experience in similar organisations working in:

o  STEM education

o  DIY / Tinkering / Robotics programs

o  Education-focused CSR or social enterprises

·      Prior experience in CSR or institutional sales is strongly preferred

Key Skills & Competencies·      Strong understanding of STEM education products and DIY learning

models

·      Working knowledge of CSR frameworks and education-focused

funding

·      Good proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills

·      Ability and willingness to travel PAN India frequently

·      Result-oriented mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
