Job Summary
The Sales Manager – Drone Industry is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for drone products and solutions across commercial, industrial, and government sectors. The role involves managing key accounts, expanding market presence, building partnerships, and leading a sales team to achieve targets in a fast-evolving technology-driven market.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
• Develop and implement sales strategies for drone hardware, software, and services
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Identify new business opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, surveying, mining, construction, defense, logistics, and infrastructure
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
Client & Account Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable drone solutions
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Market & Business Development
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and emerging drone applications
• Expand dealer, distributor, and reseller networks
• Coordinate with marketing teams for product launches, demos, and exhibitions
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
• Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews
• Coordinate with technical, operations, and after-sales teams for solution delivery
• Train the sales team on drone technology, applications, and compliance
Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure sales activities comply with DGCA and other aviation regulations (India)
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and pipeline updates
• Maintain accurate CRM records

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
• Understanding of drone technology, UAV applications, and industry regulations
• Experience in solution-based or technology sales
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities

Qualifications
• 12th Pass
• Bachelor’s degree preffered

Experience
• 3-5 years of sales experience in electronics.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience working with government, enterprise, or industrial clients is an advantage
