Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing HVAC VRF Project Sales Engineer with strong experience in VRF system sales, project acquisition, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business from real estate developers, IT parks, hospitality, and commercial projects, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.

2–8 years (preferably in VRF / Commercial HVAC Sales)


1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in VRF / HVAC projects
  • Generate leads through consultants, architects, builders, and direct clients
  • Handle complete sales cycle: enquiry → design → proposal → negotiation → closure
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets 

2. Client & Consultant Management

  • Build strong relationships with:
  • Architects
  • MEP consultants
  • Builders & developers
  • Facility managers
  • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings
  • Position the company as a solution provider, not just a vendor

3. Technical Sales & Proposal

  • Prepare HVAC load calculations (basic to intermediate level)
  • Design and propose VRF systems based on project requirements
  • Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and commercial proposals
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal design teams

4. Project Coordination

  • Work closely with execution team post-order finalization
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project team
  • Follow up for payments and client satisfaction

5. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and upcoming projects
  • Identify new business segments (hospitality, healthcare, retail, IT parks)


🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of VRF systems (Daikin / Mitsubishi / LG / Toshiba, etc.)
  • Understanding of commercial HVAC design & applications
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to read drawings and coordinate with consultants
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Self-driven, target-oriented mindset

🌟 Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience working with HVAC contractors or OEMs
  • Strong network with consultants/builders in Kolkata
  • Proven track record in closing VRF or large HVAC projects
  • Experience in hospitality or commercial HVAC projects is a big plus
