Senior Accountant

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts on a daily basis
• Finalization of accounts up to balance sheet level
• Handling GST compliance including:
• GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation
• GST notices, replies, and follow-ups
• TDS compliance:
• Calculation, payment, and filing of TDS returns
• Handling Form 16 / 16A
• Income Tax:
• Preparation of computation of income
• Filing of Income Tax Returns (Individuals, Firms, Companies)
• Assistance in assessments, notices, and replies
• Bank reconciliation statements and ledger scrutiny
• Coordination with clients, banks, auditors, and tax authorities
• Ensuring statutory compliance and timely reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, and Income Tax
• Hands-on experience with Tally / accounting software
• Good understanding of statutory due dates and compliance timelines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidate currently working in a CA firm / accounting firm / corporate accounts department
• Mature, disciplined, and capable of handling multiple clients or assignments
