Job Title: Senior Accountant

Organization: SOHO Bharat Foundation

Location: Karnani Mansion, Park Street, Kolkata

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Overview SOHO Bharat Foundation is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and accounting processes.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and balance sheets
  • Handle GST filings, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Perform bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance
  • Manage invoicing, billing, and vendor payments
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
  • Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Tally / Accounting Software
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation rules
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Eligibility Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred)
  • Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes
