Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Karnani Mansion, Park Street, Kolkata
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Overview SOHO Bharat Foundation is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and accounting processes.
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and balance sheets
- Handle GST filings, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance
- Manage invoicing, billing, and vendor payments
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Tally / Accounting Software
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation rules
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Eligibility Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred)
- Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes
