Senior Accountant

• Key Responsibilities:Handle day-to-day accounting activities for clients across various sectors.
• Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and coordinate tax payments and reconciliations.
• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits independently, including coordination with clients and auditors.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly closing and reporting.
• Review and guide junior team members on accounting entries, reconciliations, and client queries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with clients for documentation, clarifications, and ensure service delivery in a professional manner.
• Assist in the preparation of income tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Key Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Income Tax, TDS, and GST.
• Experience with accounting software like Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar.
• Familiarity with MCA, ROC, and tax portal compliance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Office tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
• Qualifications:B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or CA firm environment.
