Key Responsibilities1. Coffee & Beverage Craft (Barista Duties)

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty lattes.
• Maintain high standards of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
• Calibrate grinders and espresso machines (dialing in) to ensure flavor consistency.
• Keep the bar area organized, clean, and fully stocked with milk, beans, and syrups.

2. Guest Experience & Service (Service Duties)

• Greet customers warmly as they enter and provide a high level of hospitality.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system and handle cash/card transactions.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and check in on guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform "table touches": clearing empty plates, wiping down tables, and resetting the dining area for new guests.
• Assist with basic food prep or plating (e.g., pastries, sandwiches) as needed.
• Qualifications & SkillsExperience: At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant setting (Barista experience preferred).
• Multitasking: Ability to switch between making drinks and clearing tables without losing focus.
• Communication: Clear, friendly communication skills with both customers and teammates.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg (milk crates/bags of beans).
• Cleanliness: An "eyes-on" approach to hygiene—always looking for a table to wipe or a floor to sweep.
