Junior Programmer – Generation AI

Location: Sector V, Kolkata (On-site)

Generation AI is a new software and AI solutions startup. We build innovative, AI-powered applications for businesses and consumers using modern technologies.

Role: Junior Programmer (Full-time)We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Programmer to join our development team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career developers who want hands-on experience working on real-world projects. You will work closely with senior developers, learn industry best practices, and contribute to building scalable software solutions. Training and mentorship will be provided.

• ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing, testing, and maintaining web or software applications
• Write clean, readable, and efficient code under guidance
• Debug and fix basic issues in existing applications
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
• Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Maintain proper documentation of code and features
• RequirementsBasic knowledge of any programming language: JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, or C
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web concepts
• Understanding of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar) is a plus
• Willingness to learn frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, or others
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
