We are seeking a dedicated and versatile teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching English, Social Studies (SST),economics and business studies and primary level subjects, including kindergarten. This role requires the flexibility to teach across various grade levels, providing a comprehensive and engaging educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.

• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that cater to the needs of all students.

• Teach English and Social Studies subjects to students from kindergarten to primary grades.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

2. Classroom Management:

• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.

• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

• Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.

3. Student Assessment and Development:

• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.

• Use a variety of assessment techniques to evaluate student performance and inform instructional decisions.

• Identify students’ varying learning needs and implement strategies to address these needs.

4. Professional Development:

• Participate in departmental, school, and parent meetings.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational practices and methodologies.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the teaching and learning environment.

5. Communication:

• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration regarding student progress and needs.

• Prepare and distribute required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

6. Extracurricular Activities:

• Lead and participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

• Support the development of students’ social and emotional skills through various school programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Teaching certification/license in relevant subjects.

• Proven experience in teaching English, Social Studies, and primary level subjects.

• Strong understanding of child development and educational pedagogy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

• Proficiency in using technology and educational software for teaching and administrative purposes.
