Team Leader

The Team Leader in the Insurance sector is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of insurance advisors or sales executives to achieve business targets. The role involves team development, sales planning, customer relationship management, and ensuring overall growth in insurance business performance.

• Key Responsibilities:Recruit, train, and develop a team of insurance advisors or sales executives.
• Guide the team in achieving monthly and annual sales and business targets.
• Plan and execute sales strategies for life/general insurance products.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and motivation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for policy renewals and cross-selling.
• Conduct regular meetings, training sessions, and field visits with team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory norms, and ethical standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
• Coordinate with branch operations, underwriters, and customer support for smooth policy issuance.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA or Insurance certification preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve sales targets.
• Good knowledge of insurance products and market trends.
