Job Description
- Plan and manage daily transportation operations and schedules
- Supervise drivers, helpers, and transport staff
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods
- Monitor fuel consumption and control transportation costs
- Maintain vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and fitness certificates
- Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of vehicles
- Ensure compliance with transport laws, safety standards, and company policies
- Handle route planning and optimize vehicle utilization
- Manage transport-related complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments
- Maintain transport records, logs, and MIS reports
