Transporting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our fleet operations and ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and legally compliant transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will manage drivers, schedules, vehicle maintenance, routing, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transport operations.
• Ensure compliance with all transport regulations, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Schedule and optimize routes for efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Supervise and support drivers and transport staff.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, licenses, and inspections.
• Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure transport requirements are met.
• Handle incidents, accidents, and insurance claims in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Prepare reports and KPIs for senior management on transport performance.
