Job Description
- Research destinations (sikkim-Darjeeling, North East India, Bhutan, Andaman, Odisha and Kolkata nearby) and travel options, including prices, local customs, weather conditions, and customer reviews.
- Understand clients’ requirements and preferences to recommend suitable travel packages or services.
- Plan and organize travel arrangements from start to finish, including booking tickets, accommodations, transportation, and other essentials.
- Provide travelers with relevant information and helpful materials such as guides, maps, and event schedules.
- Collect deposits and final payments from clients.
- Use promotional strategies and prepare marketing materials to promote itinerary-based tour packages.
- Address unforeseen issues and client complaints, and determine eligibility for refunds when required.
- Attend industry conferences to stay updated on tourism trends.
- Create and maintain accurate electronic records of clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage financial statements and supporting documents.
- Achieve assigned revenue and profit targets.
