Travel Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and client-focused Travel Consultant to handle inbound calls from prospective guests, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and gradually take charge of operations to ensure guest satisfaction. This is an exciting growth role for someone who is both sales-oriented and operationally driven.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls from guests and respond to travel inquiries promptly and professionally
• Convert potential leads into confirmed bookings through persuasive communication and service knowledge
• Understand guest requirements and offer tailored travel solutions
• Coordinate with vehicle vendors, guides, boat operators, and other service partners
• Ensure smooth execution of bookings with attention to detail and guest preferences
• Maintain CRM records and follow up with leads and ongoing trips
• Handle guest feedback and work with the team for continuous service improvement
• Willingness to learn and take on operational responsibilities beyond sales
• Provide updates on sales performance and conversion metrics regularly

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 year of experience in travel sales, customer service, or related field
• Strong communication skills in English (Mandatory), Hindi, and Bengali
• Pleasant telephone manners and confidence in handling high-value clients
• Willingness to upskill in operations and coordination
• Basic knowledge of travel operations in Bengal (Sundarbans, weekend getaways, etc.) preferred
• Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision
• Passion for travel and a growth-oriented mindset
• Ambition to grow into a leadership or managerial role over time

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience and performance. Incentives available on lead conversions.
