Job Description
a customer service professional who greets guests, takes food/drink orders, serves meals, handles payments, and ensures a pleasant dining experience
- Guest Interaction: Warmly greeting guests, seating them, presenting menus, and explaining specials or ingredients.
- Order Management: Taking accurate orders (using notepad or tablet), relaying them to the kitchen, and delivering food/drinks promptly.
- Customer Satisfaction: Checking in with customers, anticipating needs, addressing complaints, and ensuring they enjoy their meal.
- Payment & Closing: Preparing bills, processing payments (cash/card), and handling change.
- Table Maintenance: Clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and keeping the dining area clean and organized.
