Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong core WordPress knowledge to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in WordPress development along with strong front-end and back-end development skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Work on both front-end and back-end development of web applications.
• Customize WordPress core functionalities as per project requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• Strong core WordPress development knowledge (theme development, plugin development, hooks, filters, custom post types).
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with MySQL and WordPress database structure.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in WordPress / Full Stack Development.
• Experience with WooCommerce customization is a plus.
• Familiarity with React.js or modern JavaScript frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with website optimization and SEO-friendly development.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be based in Kolkata or nearby regions.
• Ability to work on-site at our Kolkata office.
