Area Manager

About the Role

We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Area Managers to lead our retail operations in Tier 2+ cities. This role is suited for somebody with strong execution and hands-on style of working to drive operational excellence, manage large teams, and oversee the end-to-end operations across multiple cities. You will play a critical role in achieving our aggressive growth targets and ensuring operational efficiency at scale.

Responsibilities

1. Operational Excellence:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of existing stores, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to SOPs.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all stores.

• Drive efficiency in inventory management and merchandising to optimize store performance.

2. People Management:

• Build and lead a high-performing store operations team, including store managers, cashiers, pickers and associates.

• Monitor store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and implement improvement plans as needed.

3. Performance Management:

• Monitor store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and implement improvement plans as needed.

• Establish KPIs and regularly review operational dashboards to ensure targets are met.

4. Customer Experience:

• Enhance the in-store experience by driving initiatives that prioritize customer satisfaction.

• Ensure stores consistently deliver on the brand promise through well-trained staff and excellent service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: 6+ years in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role managing multi-store operations.

• Education: Graduation or equivalent degree from a reputed institution is preferred.

• Proven track record of acing KPIs in retail operations, preferably in a high-growth environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on execution and results.
