We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will work closely with our Frontend Developers, UX Designers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities: * Design, develop and maintain the server-side of our web applications using modern technologies and best practices. * Collaborate with Frontend Developers, UX Designers, and Product Managers to design and implement APIs, microservices, and other backend components. * Write clean, maintainable and scalable code that can be easily tested and deployed to production environments. * Optimize the performance and scalability of our backend systems to meet the demands of our growing user base. * Ensure the security and reliability of our backend systems by implementing appropriate security measures and monitoring tools. * Collaborate with other developers on code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting issues. * Continuously research and learn new technologies and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of our backend systems. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 1 - 2 years of experience in backend development using modern languages such as Node.js, Python or Java. * Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB. * Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend architectures. * Familiarity with AWS cloud platform. * Experience working with version control systems such as Git. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
