Job Summary

The Commercial General Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for steering the company's commercial vision, ensuring profitable growth, and maximizing return on investment by overseeing all commercial operations, strategic initiatives, financial management, and team development. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with company goals; identify new markets, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, financial planning, resource allocation, and reporting;
  • Operations & Risk: Manage daily commercial operations, optimize processes, assess risks, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders; negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and develop high-performing commercial teams; foster a culture of excellence.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research, monitor trends, and analyze competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure integrated business performance. 

Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Proven experience in senior commercial, business development, or general management roles.
  • Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and P&L management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
