Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure functionality and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to software development. - Ability to analyze and optimize existing software solutions for improved performance. - Familiarity with database management and data integration techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
